Everyday in life of expired CoPR holders is a struggle. The process to #renew_expired_copr is painful, slow and we are made to wait for several months and still their is no clarity when the docs will be reissued. @SeanFraserMP this should be top priority for @CitImmCanada

Stop this bias and allow us to live at peace...give us something in return for all the pain we took investing our time and hard earned money to earn this PR and make it to this point ..don't ignore us anymore in the name of covid excuses wen u process all other class of files..

Issue us our most deserved Passport request.v are the ones who hard earned it once only to let it expire in front of our eyes when u ppl banned us entry to Canada blaming covid but same time we're taking in lakhs of overseas students enrolled,clearly proving the descrimination

We left our job from gulf region to migrate to Canada for our better future. Now stuck in our home country due to the expired COPR .. Now we are job less and hope less .. kid's are not going to school , every month thinking borders will open for us to travel . Please ๐ please ๐

Those who got approved recently & got there new COPR'S can travel & we expired COPR'S have to just wait its so painful many of us have sold r assests and our kids are out of school from months we are helpless in a Limbo @CitImmCanada @marcomendicino @CanadainIndia this so unfair

About 23,000 aspiring immigrants have expired or nearly expired permanent residency documents. Their lives are on hold, and a spokesperson for the Min. of Immigration said it could take weeks or months to renew paperwork.

Exactly 1 month ago @CitImmCanada stated: "If your COPR is about to expire, or has expired, we will soon have instructions on our website about how to get reissued documents."
Every day we are waiting for these instructions, no updates on the website & no response on webforms ๐คท

As of today, any foreign national who holds a valid Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) is able to travel to Canada. If your COPR is about to expire, or has expired, we will soon have instructions on our website about how to get reissued documents. canada.ca/en/immigration-refโฆ
