Fitna al-Khawarij Attack Repulsed in Panjgur Sector
On 14 June 2026, a group of Fitna al-Khawarij (FAK) terrorists launched an attack on a security forces post in the Panjgur Sector. Alert troops responded swiftly and engaged the attackers, while Quick Reaction Forces (QRFs) from neighbouring posts moved in to reinforce the position.
According to security sources, the effective response forced the terrorists to retreat from the area. During the ensuing exchange of fire, three FAK terrorists were killed, while several others were reportedly injured.
A sanitisation operation was subsequently carried out to clear the area and ensure that no terrorist elements remained in the vicinity. Search and clearance efforts are continuing.
