BREAKING: The FBI likely has 28,240 pages of files on @wikileaks founder and journalist Julian Assange, excluding any files from the Mueller Investigation.
This revelation came from a late night filing by the US Attorney's Office in response to our ongoing lawsuit Defending Rights & Dissent v. FBI.
We are currently in court defending your right to know about the FBI's role in the press freedom case of the century.

Comentamos sobre o engajamento do Papa Francisco em favor da causa da liberdade de expressão e de defesa da democracia. Foi a partir da audiência concedida pelo Papa à esposa e aos filhos de Assange, em 2023, que a campanha pela libertação do jornalista ganhou novo ímpeto. Fiquei muito feliz em constatar que Assange está bem de saúde e está reconstruindo a sua vida familiar e profissional. Ele é um exemplo para todos que atuam em defesa da liberdade de imprensa e dos direitos humanos.

Six years ago Julian Assange was dragged from the Ecuadorean embassy and locked up in London’s notorious Belmarsh prison, where he spent 1,901 days in grim conditions.
Thankfully he is now safe & free, but we must never forget the UK’s role, as this could so easily happen again.
