More from the LCPS Superintendent...
I’m now kind of understanding why @LoudounSupe of Loudoun County Public Schools is afraid to talk to tough reporters like @NickMinock . He kind of walks right into the most obvious trap ever right here.

Between the constant increase in energy needs, transmission, congestion, lack of generation, and this ever increasing carbon tax. Electric bills for Virginians are going to continue to grow. RGGI is a ever increasing never decreasing carbon tax
Dominion's new filing to recover RGGI costs indicates that it will cost the typical residential consumer an additional $13 per month ($156 per year). Filing linked below. Business and industrial customers will see increased bills as well. scc.virginia.gov/docketsearc…

Another clip of your LCPS Superintendent at work...
Spoiler alert: Federal law does not require boys (even those who "identify" as girls) to go into girls' locker rooms.

They don't want to solve any problems, they want them to fester...
The Democrat Party has built an entire political machine on grievance. They don’t solve problems. They reopen wounds. They don’t offer a vision for the future. They sell resentment from the past. Every election, it’s the same script: “Racism.” “White supremacy.” “Jim Crow.” “Democracy is dying.” And when those talking points aren’t enough, they roll out their favorite accomplices… the media, activist groups, and organizations like the Southern Poverty Law Center, to smear, label, and silence anyone who dares challenge their narrative. Why? Because fear is their currency. Division is their strategy. Outrage is their oxygen.

Hey Jasmine… Black pilot here. I think you missed the plot. Then again, that’s becoming a pattern. I graduated from West Point. I went through Army flight school. I learned to fly the AH-64 Apache. I deployed to combat and flew 55 combat missions over Baghdad. Nobody handed me a cockpit because of my skin color. Nobody lowered the standards for me. Nobody looked at me and said, “Let’s check a diversity box.” That’s what people like you don’t seem to understand. Suggesting that Black pilots, Black engineers, Black doctors, or Black leaders need special preferences to succeed is not empowering, it’s insulting. I didn’t want a different standard. I wanted the same standard. And when you’re flying into combat, the American people don’t care what race the pilot is. They care whether the pilot is qualified. Merit isn’t racist. Excellence isn’t discriminatory. And reducing every achievement to skin color says far more about your worldview than it does about mine.

I don’t believe a word that comes out of Abigail Spanberger’s mouth. This Kamala Harris style word-salad gibberish is an embarrassment to all who love Virginia and serve her. The Governor lost her integrity when she told us last fall she wouldn’t gerrymander Virginia. We don’t believe you anymore Governor…. nor trust you.

The FBI just fired multiple employees over the Richmond Catholic memo. Stanley Meador was the Special Agent in Charge of the Richmond FBI office when that memo was produced. Today, Meador serves as Virginia’s Secretary of Public Safety and Homeland Security. If the memo was serious enough to get analysts fired, it’s fair to ask why the people at the bottom lost their jobs while the person running the office now oversees Virginia’s entire public safety system. Out of the hundreds of qualified people that Abigail Spanberger could have picked, she picked this guy. Thats a story in and of itself.

WATCH: Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX): Your organization said that restricting and banning abortion is a tool that the far right uses to maintain white supremacy. Do you believe that pro-lifers are white supremacist?” SPLC CEO Bryan Fair: “Ummm, I believe that reproductive liberty is... I can’t answer that question yes or no.” Brandon Gill: “How many babies that are in the United States that are aborted are black?” Bryan Fair: *Speechless* Brandon Gill: “About 40% of abortions nationwide are of black babies—blacks represent about 13% of the population. Does that sound like something a white supremacist would oppose?” I love this guy!

House rules require 48 hours to read it. And @VAHouseGOP has shown zero inclination to waive that time.

The bottom line is spending. The Dems cannot control their spending and they need the revenue. They burned through Governor Youngkin's @GovernorVA74 $2.7 billion surplus and they need the data center revenue or their house of cards collapses. They are in a self imposed Catch 22.
Democrats in Richmond are proving once again that they know how to win elections but struggle with basic governing. The budget talks between Louise Lucas, Luke Torian, and Abigail Spanberger have exploded, leaving Virginia staring down a potential first-ever government shutdown. At the heart of the fight? That massive $1.9 billion data center tax break that powers Northern Virginia's economy. Lucas is ready to kill it; others say hands off. Now they're floating a bare-bones "skinny budget" just to keep the lights on. Political experts call it what it is: a power struggle inside the Democratic Party over its future direction. No Republicans blocking the way — this is all self-inflicted. Virginians deserve better than this circus as the July 1 deadline looms. From higher taxes to business battles, the ripple effects will hit families across the state.

🚨Another $40k raise for Loudoun County Superintendent Aaron Spence? This week, Superintendent Spence will testify on Capitol Hill in a @EdWorkforceCmte hearing titled, "Breaking Trust: Attacks on Parental Rights, Inappropriate Content, and Legal Abuses in America's Schools." Tonight, the Loudoun County School Board is expected to meet behind closed doors (again) to discuss and evaluate Superintendent Spence for his annual performance review. If the school board rates him proficient and he's employed by the end of the month, Dr. Spence is expected to get another raise and bonus amounting to $40,000 . Taxpayers are already paying him more than $500k a year, making him one of the highest paid school Superintendents in America. Dr. Spence makes more than that because he's compensated from outside sources. Two years ago, we showed how Dr. Spence spends time during the school year traveling to conferences, some that are sponsored by big companies. Some of the conferences pay him to attend and be on panels. Details: wjla.com/news/local/loudoun-…

"Return to RGGI to bring higher electric bills, SCC filing says"
🚨THEY'RE FINALLY ADMITTING IT: 🚨RTD: Return to RGGI to bring higher electric bills, SCC filing says "Virginia’s decision to rejoin a market that requires utilities to pay for the carbon dioxide their plants emit could boost Dominion Energy ratepayers’ bills by 6% to 7.5% next year, a filing at the State Corporation Commission says." "Dominion is asking the SCC to approve a surcharge to cover the $1.18 billion cost of allowances it will have to buy from the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative beginning July 1 and continuing through February 2028." How about we hold weak prosecutors liable for letting deadly criminals out in the street?
Families in every corner of the Commonwealth experience the daily devastation of gun violence, and it must end. Beginning July 1, this office will have the authority to hold the firearm industry accountable for the violence they are fueling.

To you, it's just a Cracker Barrel parking lot. To me, it's where I gave my life to Jesus Christ. I was 21 years old. I was working at the Cracker Barrel in Tallahassee after some of the worst years of my life. I'd made mistakes. Real ones. I grew up in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, raised by a mom who worked hard and didn't accept excuses. But I made decisions that should have ended my story before it ever really started. By the grace of God, they didn't. But every day, I was carrying them. One afternoon, a church group came into the restaurant, just back from a revival. I served them their meals like I served any other table. But something happened while I was serving them. I can't fully explain it to you. The Lord spoke to me. He said, “Stop running from Me.” It knocked me back. I went to find the table, and they were all gone. I could see through their windows that they were getting on their bus, and I knew deep down that if I let them drive away, I was going to keep running. So I went outside. The last woman, just as she was stepping onto the bus, turned to me and asked, “Are you okay?” I told her, “No ma’am, I’m not okay.” I told her the Lord was telling me to stop running. That whole bus emptied out, stood with me in the parking lot of a Cracker Barrel in Tallahassee, Florida, and prayed over me right there. I gave my life to Christ that day. Right there. I still get emotional about it. Because I know what I was before that moment, and I know what He's done since. He gave me a wife who shares my faith. He gave me three sons. He gave me a career, a community, a calling I never would have dared to ask for. He took a kid from Crown Heights who’d run out of chances and gave him a life that doesn't make sense apart from grace. People ask me sometimes why I talk about it. Why I bring up the parking lot. Why I don't just keep that part private and let folks see the polished version. I'll tell you why. Because there's a young man out there right now — maybe in Tallahassee, maybe in Tampa, maybe in Miami, maybe in a small town in the Panhandle — who thinks his story is already over. Who thinks the mistakes he's made disqualify him from the life he could have had. Who thinks God doesn't want anything to do with somebody like him. I'm here to tell him: that's a lie. In life, you're not who you are at the lowest point. You're who you choose to become after. The Lord met me in a Cracker Barrel parking lot. He'll meet you wherever you are. You just have to stop running.

🚨DEMOCRAT-LED DECLINE: What once was the premier Virginia school district now boasts abysmal academic outcomes, bloated bureaucratic salaries, & lost teacher jobs in favor of misplaced, expensive priorities: 🚨Fairfax School District Prioritizes ‘Green Initiatives’ Over Academic Proficiency "There are many areas in the central administration’s bloated budget that school board members could have cut to avoid reducing school reserve staff this year or eliminating 275 teaching positions last year. In fiscal year 2026, for example, the district spent $272 million on non-school-based administrators’ salaries." "Reid, the chief 'equity' monger, earns an annual salary of $445,353, and her chief of staff, Marty Smith, earns $306,154. Their egregiously high salaries highlight yet another case of 'equity for thee, but not for me.'" "Perhaps equally disconcerting—as the district eliminates teaching positions, increases class sizes, and cuts school staffing reserves—Fairfax County Public Schools’ leadership has supercharged its green initiatives into a rapidly expanding administrative ecosystem spanning multiple departments and layers of staffing." You can’t give teachers raises without a budget.
I have made my priorities clear — including raises for teachers and other public employees, funding to address rising Medicaid costs and the impacts of the ‘One Big Beautiful Bill,’ and working to make Virginia more affordable.

I have also been clear that data centers in Virginia need to pay their fair share for the energy they use. wfxrtv.com/news/spanberger-s…
