The Government has agreed to incorporate Max Wilkinson’s Sunshine Bill into their Future Homes Standard.
It means all new homes built from 2028 will come with solar panels. This will reduce bills for owners of newbuild homes, reduce pressure on the energy grid and help fight climate change.
It’s a Lib Dem win-win-win.

EXCL: Public support for digital IDs has collapsed after Keir Starmer announced plans for their introduction, in what has been described as a symptom of PM's “reverse Midas touch”.

35 years ago today the Berlin Wall came down & Cold War was over. That joyful moment ushered in 2 decades of Russia & European countries no longer engaged in hybrid warfare, & people from east of the Wall could join in with those from the west in trade, travel, love & culture.

I enjoyed a lovely afternoon at Whitchurch Canal Festival on Saturday.
It was great to see so many people and dogs appreciating the beautiful boats, scenery and weather. And there was a fine selection of cakes in the café!
