Day 4 of United States 🇺🇸 Air Force ISR operations over Oyo State, with surveillance activity concentrated on areas bordering Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria 🇳🇬.
👀 Day 4. Same area. Same mission set of persistent ISR coverage over the Oyo–Kwara axis point to a sustained intelligence requirement. Whatever is being monitored, it has clearly remained a priority.

Day 3 of U.S. Air Force ISR operations over Southwestern Nigeria.
This time, the operation has extended beyond Oyo State into Ilorin, Kwara State, in Nigeria’s North Central region.
Security dynamics in Kwara have deteriorated significantly, with a sharp rise in terrorist, jihadist, and bandit-related violence spilling over from the Northwest and Northeast. Groups such as Lakurawa (IS-linked), Boko Haram factions, Mahmuda, and possible JNIM (Al-Qaeda-linked) elements are now active in the area.
It is therefore no surprise that the region has become a major hotspot for American surveillance.

On this day 13th June, 2025 over 270 Benue Christian Farmers were killed by Islamists over the night while asleep.
A year has come and gone and yet no suspect has been arrested nor prosecuted.
My heart goes out to every Benue family that has lost family members, homes and sources of livelihood since the inception of the Fulani Islamist genocide on the peaceful indigenes of the state.

Today, I sat in Ogbomoso Stakeholders Security Meeting, convened by our Kabiyesi SÒÚN Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, for nearly three hours.
We have a broken security system and patterns were evident that current policing system can’t address.
Oriire LG has over 700 communities without strong policing presence. Also, too many black spots without telco presence as FG needs to ramp up digital connectivity across communities, possibly tax cuts to telcos.
It’s over 28 days and we still have children in captivity. We need urgent answers.

The more I try to be quiet about this, the more I realize people need to know what we are not talking about.
A church revival was attacked.
A pastor was killed.
Families were torn apart in minutes.
Among those taken were three siblings. Their mother, who had initially escaped by running away went back because her children were among those being taken.
A church member rushed to help the pastor after the attack.
He had an accident on the way too and by the time he regained consciousness, he was told his wife and 3 children had been abducted.
The man lost his leg!
Now, more than 40 days later, families are still waiting for answers.
Ekiti is dealing with serious security concerns that deserve more attention but you will never see the residents talk about it.
People were kidnapped in Eda Oniyo in Ilejemeje LGA more than a month ago, and things have not been normal since then, students go to school and close at the slightest rumor of bandit, nearby or faraway.
Hospitals close by 6pm and they specifically told someone that needed a surgery that they’ll have to leave her and the security man will be the only one with her in the hospital.
These are the kinds of stories that should remain in the public conversation until there are answers and lasting solutions.
But no! They will not talk!

Yesterday, I appeared before a Judge of the FCT High Court in one of the divisions in the outskirts. Because of the distance to town, you hardly enjoy going there. 🥹
Case was called and I represent the defendant. The Applicant was absent from court for a record second time. I knew the Judge, as a personal policy, likes giving latitude to parties so she could have asked me whether the Applicant was served hearing notice against yesterday. Of course, it’s not my duty as Respondent, I’m however familiar with the Judge enough to know her leanings.
So, my mission was simple. Toast her! 😁After she took my appearance, I said:
“The Applicant and his counsel are absent for a second time today. No reason is given for their absence. As much as I enjoy coming to this court to look at my lord’s beautiful face, this case is not being diligently prosecuted. I want case struck out” 😊😁
At the last line, my lord dropped her pen, laughed and blushed thoroughly 😂😂😂
