Interesting bit of PR imo they’re using Fab to let everyone know they value Tonali around £70m and Hall around £55m add ons. Also why give a team that’s been in the UCL more than you recently over £100m to add to the £70m they already pocketed for Gordon.

Another thing the French league has always had a mixture of value of money deals and more expensive ones. Tchouameni £68m 2022, Ndombele £54 2019 were not cheap deals not sure why people are claiming Ligue guarantees a bargain, we paid £50m for a CB in Yoro two summer ago!!
Remember when people who had no idea what they were talking about saying Matues Fernandes would be cheap £40m. It’s the same thing Ayyoub Bouaddi’s he’s been linked to Arsenal for a while now it was €60m in January and will obviously be more now.

I had no idea West Ham have £196m in transfer debt, £40m credit facility, losses of £104m that came with an account forecast of ‘liquidity shortfall in summer 2026’ & ‘relegation would cause an even bigger crisis’. So even if they stayed up they’d be in financial trouble 😂

West Ham don't have near the leverage on the Mateus Fernandes deal as people think, Manchester United & Fernandes do & they know it. They've tried media briefing on Arsenal, PSG & Real Madrid as scare tactics were tried & they didn’t work.
It'll help get the deal on their terms.

I’m no Omar Berrada fan but when he says you need to be flexible and prepared for things in the market to change, we might see that play out later in this window. If the right domino’s fall Tchouameni might become available, if not we pivot to an overpriced prem player.

A Somali referee who is due to officiate at the World Cup has been denied entry to the U.S. after “vetting concerns” emerged upon his arrival in Florida over the weekend.
Omar Artan arrived at Miami International Airport on a flight from Istanbul on Saturday but was barred from entering the country following a “routine” inspection, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) confirmed in a statement to The Athletic.
Artan, the 2025 Confederation of African Football men’s referee of the year, is one of 52 referees handpicked by world governing body FIFA for the tournament.
