Excited to share that I will be promoted to full professor with distinguished promotion! It feels surreal as I still struggle to differentiate from grad students. A new journey of discovery, innovation and team science has just begun, only now with full degrees of freedom!

Professor Diao has received a Campus Distinguished Promotion award by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Provost. She will become a full professor in August, pending approval by the Board of Trustees.
