📣 #DigiNode Tools v0.10.3 is live. No bug fixes needed this time. 🥳 The #Tor onion address for your #DigiByte mainnet and/or testnet node(s) is now displayed in the DigiNode Dashboard, saving you from having to look them up manually. Please update.
If you have setup Tor for your #DigiNode please visit the DigiNode Telegram group to find other #DigiByte#Tor nodes to connect to. You need to manually add another Tor node to bootstrap your connection. t.me/DigiNodeTools
1/ 📣 #DigiNode Tools v0.10.0 is now live:
- New: #Tor support! - Your #DigiByte nodes can now run over the Tor network for better privacy. You can switch your DigiByte mainnet and/or testnet node to run on Tor via the main menu.
6/ It helps if you remember to attach the screenshots! You can choose to run your #DigiByte mainnet node and/or testnet node over #Tor. You can also switch at any time.
This has been several weeks of blood, sweat and tears to bring #Tor support to your #DigiNode. Getting your #DigiByte node(s) to run over Tor is now simple and automatic. Soon the #DigByte community will have a more private, secure and resilient #blockchain. Releasing very soon.
📣 #DigiNode Tools v0.9.13 is now available:
- Change: Remove DigiAsset Node software. This is temporary. The old DigiAsset Node software has not been functioning correctly for some time and has therefore been retired. This release automatically purges it from your DigiNode.
- Fix: Better detection in the Dashboard for when the DigiNode is offline. Note: Support for the new DigiAsset Core, which is a complete rewrite of the DigiAsset software, will be added in an upcoming release.

📣 #DigiNode Tools v0.9.12 is out:
- Fix: Hide download progress when checking for #DigiByte update when Dashboard launches
- New: Raspberry Pi detection has been updated to correctly identify newer Pi 4, CM4, Pi 400 and Pi 5 models.
- New: The latest version of DigiNode Tools must now be running to install any other updates. This helps to avoid any issues with significant changes between versions. DigiNode Tools updates itself first. You can then run the update again to install any additional updates.
Yes this involves an extra step, but it is rare you will see this and should make the update system more robust, and less likely for things to break between versions.
@DigiByteCoin#DigiByte$DGB - I tested the Diginode tool found at @DigiNodeTools and it was amazingly simple. Very impressive. Port this to windows and give it a next, next GUI and everyone will be running nodes. HAHA!! Thanks @saltedlolly for all your hard work.
