drinking enough clean water is certainly an interesting subject and i want to add my own 2cent and experience
as always, there’s no such thing as: one size fits all … context matters ‼️
personally, i eat quite a lot of himalaya salt with my food … i also ingest other salts, spices and minerals in different forms
my water intake comes from a water purifier with a charcoal filter … i make a point of having filled water bottles everywhere in my place, beside my desk, couch, desk and so forth … and i easily drink 1-2 liters every day
i’ve been doing this since over 15 years
back in the day, after i bought my first water purifier (kangen water) and started drinking significant amounts of this water … after maybe 3-4 weeks, i noticed a sharp pain in my right kidney … it was very unpleasant
these pains disappeared after 3-4 days … and then the same pains appeared in my left kidney … and again disappeared after 3-4 days
only then did i realize that my kidneys had been pretty much clogged up for quite a while already … and this clean water had washed out all of the dirt and little stones (sand) that had been accumulated
till this point my urin was clear and seemed to be clean … after my kidneys were unclogged … different colors and smells appeared in my urin
the water i am drinking is filtered and it seems to be ionized as well … thus it transports toxins and actively detoxifies my body
most waters you can buy are actually not properly filtered or purified … when you read the labels you will see that they have all kinds of “minerals” … but these are not bio-available minerals
thus they don’t help with detox … instead they clog the kidneys even more
the above alone already highlights a number of factors involved in this game of water
in any event, if you have fallen prey to the anti salt propaganda, your kidneys are not working properly, you’re eating processed foods with lots of seed oils and you get your “energy” from caffeinated drinks … be careful of drinking too much water
