With support from @gavi & in collaboration with @MohGambia EPI is currently holding a 3days training on knowledge, attitude, beliefs & practices (KABP) study on vaccine hesitancy to increase immunisation info & demand generation at community level.

The training is aimed at equipping participants with the skills required to conduct a nationwide study that will assess perceptions, KABP related to vaccination, identify factors contributing to Vaccine hesitancy and immunization services in the Gambia. @gavi #immunization

As part of the visit we conduct engagements with the CRR Regional Health Directorate to discuss the importance of the PIVUTAAL project and the need for collaboration we also had sensitization meeting with the Governor of CRR to explain the initiatives undergoing in the region.

The team visited Jiangxi Province, Meteorological Bureau. During the visit, we learned the technologies & forecasting models used in weather prediction, climate monitoring & how meteorological data is collected, analyzed & transformed into forecasts that support decision making.

During a recent field visit, the Cereals & Tubers team visited a factory where red dates are processed into a range of value-added products. The fruit is transformed into juice and ice cream, while the whole dates themselves remain pleasantly chewy & sugary.@ChineseAmb_GM
