ALT The Governor continues his attack on LGBTQIA kids. He has directed the Dept of Health to eliminate vital resources for young Virginians, including support groups and LGBTQIA suicide prevention tools. Wellness resources provided by the government are and will always be safer than what kids could potentially find in dark corners of the internet.
ALT Instead of making Virginia “the best place to live, work, and raise a family'' like he says, Youngkin has continued his unfounded attacks on the LGBTQIA community, while putting more Virginian children in danger. To make matters worse, the Youngkin Administration carried out this decision in secret. They put LGBTQIA youth in harm’s way without the guts to even stand by their bigoted beliefs and once again proved that Glenn Youngkin is not the “Pro-Life” Governor that he claims to be.
ALT The Virginia Young Democrats, the VAYD LGTBQIA Caucus, and the VAYD Teen Caucus vehemently condemn this act threatening the lives and safety of Virginia Youth and will not stop working for a more inclusive and safe Virginia for all.
