June 15th is just the day you line up to start the marathon. There is still a lot of racing to do.
The top players are at the front of the race just like a marathon. The rest are trying to run the race and finish it.
The race is over when you sign a financial aid agreement, pay a deposit, and report for preseason.
Not during the recruiting process and when you commit.
And please remember, this is a year to year race.

🎢 College recruiting is a roller coaster but a lot of the disappointment is preventable. If you’re in 2028 class but just being informed, read this and save it, so you go into June 15 and the summer with clear expectations and a real plan 📅⚽️.
Share with your friends, players, parents as every year we hear excuses like ‘my club coach said’ or ‘we started late’ or ‘I didn’t know it would be this hard’ or "I got a call on June 15 and thought they were interested" or some other excuses as to why things have not worked out that could have been easily avoided 🚫.

The smaller the school, generally the lower chance of survival. Too many small schools try to use sports to save their budgets. If their selling point is 70% of students are student-athletes, that's a 🚩

I would do research before attending these schools as they may not be around long term.
