Right on the California/Nevada border near Primm is this failed power plant. You have all driven by it. It was funded and backed by Google. Funded by billionaires. It now produces 0 power but will be there forever. They fund the tech but not the cleanup when it fails.

So when a government cannot afford all the spending they want to do, and the market for government bonds have dried up, they start to beg the public to use their money to "invest" to cover spending. I don't see this as an opportunity to invest in Canada, I see this as a big red flag that Canada is broke and heading towards bankruptcy.
