This is a very elegant paper by the Adler lab, including work by two graduate researchers of our Doc@MvPI program, Katharina and Lena. By generating MCMV mutants they dissect synergistic roles of chemokine and receptor glycoproteins during MCMV infection. check it out!🤩

Happy to see Stephanie Pfaender awarded the Robert Koch Award from City of Clausthal-Zellerfeld, birthplace of Robert Koch. Stephanie was a former Ph.D. (now Professor) of our @DFG graduate program IRTG 1273. Doing great work on virus-host interactions, including corona. Love😍😎
