As an Emergency Medicine consultant in the NHS, I just want to say, to all of our patients across the UK:
I'm sorry.
We're really trying, I promise.
There's just too much to do.
And there are not enough resources in the hospitals or in our communities to satisfy demand.

Just home from 2nd Annual Emergency Care Golf Society Outing @OldmeldrumGolf . A great day spent with colleagues & friends from @NHSGrampian and @Scotambservice . Well done to all taking part. Watching staff laugh and joke despite the current pressures was the highlight for me!
