Does anyone know why NHS Scotland is the only UK region not to offer the car salary sacrifice? Coupled with the increased tax here it means you get to drive a car for free if you work anywhere else in the UK!!

I'm a year 11 consultant in Scotland. I decided to look how much 2 salaries would have to earn to have the same cumulative net pay as me... I'm shocked to have found out it's £39k You are financially better of with 2 people bringing in £39k each than one consultant salary!!

Anyone have any idea why the NHS car salary sacrifice scheme is available in Northern Ireland and England but NOT Scotland? Add in that we pay more tax here also, feels like we are getting short changed.
