“Unlike past mergers such as Comcast's 2011 takeover of NBCUniversal, this one comes with no reported strings attached, as the government did not impose any divestitures, behavioral remedies, or concessions after its review. Axios reported last Tuesday that Bari Weiss, the editor-in-chief of CBS News, would likely oversee editorial decisions at CNN as well, once the merger is completed. Puck, which first broke the news of Weiss’ hiring at Paramount in July 2025, reported that David Ellison was “smitten by Bari's unwavering support of Israel and preoccupation with the rise of antisemitism.” theamericanconservative.com/…

Belfast ranks 32nd per capita for asylum seekers in the UK. Northern Ireland hosts 2,379 in total. That’s 0.1% of its population. NI is 97% white. Asylum seekers are not “illegal migrants”; they’re going through a legal government process. factcheckni.org/articles/imm…
Belfast houses more asylum seekers per capita than almost any other place in the UK. One in 200 people in Belfast is an illegal migrant. Who could possibly have foreseen civil unrest? It’s the immigration, stupid.

Trump threatens to nuke Iran in a statement ostensibly announcing a peace deal: “Hopefully, this process will all work out quickly, easily, and smoothly. If it doesn’t, we have the ultimate alternative, hopefully never to be used again! Thank you for your attention to this matter!!!”

BREAKING: An Economics Professor Just Made A Pretty Stunning Argument About Elon Musk. According to the professor, Musk spent roughly $250 million during the 2024 election cycle. He claims that's just 0.025% of Musk's wealth. In other words, the amount spent was so small relative to Musk's fortune that he could theoretically spend the same amount thousands of times over. That's a democracy question, not just a money question.

History will remember the millions of people who died around the world from preventable deaths because of Musk's DOGE cuts. History will remember Musk's enabling, amplifying, and funding of 21st-century fascism across the West.
History will remember Elon Musk alongside DaVinci, Gutenberg, Fulton, Pasteur, Edison, Ford and Jobs. History will have no recollection of any kind of Ro Khanna.

"He didn't TAKE money from anyone." These people on the right lie like the rest of us breathe.
Congratulations @ElonMusk. Thanks to SpaceX's IPO, he's the first Trillionaire. He didn't TAKE money from anyone. He CREATED wealth. He launched satellites that connect even the poorest, most remote parts of the world. Our world needs more MAKERS like Musk; fewer TAKERS like:

There’s a clear pattern here: removing trial by jury for a whole layer of cases; blocking Cenk Uyghur and Hasan Piker from entering the country; the Filton 4 being sentenced as terrorists but not charged as terrorists (yes, really); a British citizen in Russia having his citizenship removed without being charged with anything; stuff like this - constantly. It’s becoming so normal now. There’s a great phrase ‘turnkey tyranny’: you might like the people doing this today, or despise those on the receiving end, but tomorrow it WILL be different. The end point is very obvious. And these tools, and this trajectory, in the wrong hands, is quite a terrifying thought.

But you’re a well-known, well-documented anti-Arab racist so the rest of society can safely ignore your opinions.
I hate you, and I live here, and so do hundreds of thousands of people who want to see your anti-Semitic ass deported to Saturn.

New York has been my home for the last 3.5 years and I've been lucky to witness all the great things happening in the city. Above all, I'm grateful for its people, their warmth, love, and solidarity. Thank you to the 33 NY lawmakers who sent a joint letter to DHS demanding an immediate end to the politically-motivated removal proceedings against me, and to @SenatorBrisport for leading this effort. nysenate.gov/newsroom/press-…

“Bernie, your socialism would never allow a SpaceX to be built.” Hey Bill, who got man to the moon? Was it the government or the private sector?
.@BernieSanders , it is a time to celebrate. @elonmusk has created enormous value for society by building @SpaceX, driving down the cost of rocket launches and creating a global satellite communication network that has brought high speed, low-cost internet and communication access to hundreds of millions and eventually billions of people along with critical advantages for our military and our nation’s defense. SpaceX and its technologies will cause an acceleration in the growth of wages and wealth creation globally, including in some of the poorest communities in the U.S. and around the world. Access to low-cost, high speed communications everywhere will allow children around the world to be educated, families to build businesses, and life-saving medical knowledge and care to be available everywhere. SpaceX will materially bring down the cost of compute, advancing AI and humanity. Meanwhile, 4,000 SpaceX employees yesterday became millionaires, including hourly wage employees who you claim you are trying to help. The Elon Musks of the world drive growth, global GDP, and provide access to goods and services at lower cost that would otherwise not exist. Elon’s nominal trillionaire status is due to his ownership of SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink, the Boring Company and his other initiatives that have brought new technologies that improve our everyday lives. Elon is not sitting on a trillion dollar pile of cash, jewelry and gold. He is using his controlling stakes in his companies to advance mankind. Elon’s companies don’t pay dividends. They reinvest all of their capital to accelerate innovation and value creation. Elon is working 24/7 for all of us. He deserves respect and appreciation, not smears. Bernie, your socialism would never allow a SpaceX to be built. Socialism has only proven to impoverish mankind and lead to death and destruction. We need to create the conditions for more SpaceXs to be built, not attack the great entrepreneurs who are helping to advance our country.

Yes a British mosque is exactly same as a an Israeli arms factory producing bombs for a genocide, and antiwar protesters are exactly the same as far-right racists. Why do the dumbest, most dishonest people on earth all congregate on here with paid-for blue checkmarks?
All these people are hypocrites. If this was 4 working class white men that broke into a mosque, smashed up precious artifacts worth £1m, and then attacked the police causing GBH they would all absolutely agree with the judges actions. This is no different.

Trump will brag that any MOU he signs with Iran will include a line from Iran promising never to builds nukes. Yet that was also in the first line of the JCPOA, that Iran’s nuclear program would be “exclusively peaceful,” and the third line of the JCPOA’s preamble, which said: “Iran reaffirms that under no circumstances will Iran ever seek, develop or acquire any nuclear weapon.” Trump tore up the JCPOA and caused a war.
