Today I had a clinic patient referral for a lady that’s 80 years old. Her hypertension and mild CKD regimen is likely being prescribed by a doctor older than her: diltiazem and triamterene. The markers of an old prescriber that hasn’t kept up with the HTN/CKD renaissance.
