We're crowdfunding for the print costs of our new pamphlet series – Dog Section Shorts
First up is 'Are You an Anarchist?' by our late comrade @davidgraeber, featuring an illustration by @wantsomestudiocrowdfunder.co.uk/p/are-you-…
"The Solidarity Economy: A Visual Guide," recently published by the Solidarity Economy Association. They use the #Zapatistas as a case study of a viable co-operative society, and mentioned the importance of the coffee business to supporting this society.

"Economists speak a language most of us don't understand. This lovely book reminds us that economics is how we collectively meet our needs. Be inspired!"

11 Days to Bookfair!
Getting close now, we're on two meetings a week and trying to squeeze what we can into a packed line up of stalls, workshop, lit. and music.
Featured Stall: @dogsectionpress
ALT Text Reads: "If it is inaccessible to the poor, it is neither radical nor revolutionary.” Dog Section Press is an anti-profit publisher of seditious literature. We aim to keep our print publications as affordable as possible and all of them are also available to read online for free.

Every year it's an absolute belter and we're delighted to repping the home town once again.
So lets look at the other stalls and tell you why they are cool.
1/
Thrilled to see @dogsectionpress DOPE magazine on sale on London's tubes. Real honour to be included in their #anarchism 'greatest hits' issue. If you see a seller, they get all the price, so please buy and contribute to #solidaritynotcharity
Everybody Hates the Police by @krime_1

Lovingly litho printed by our comrades @calverts and signed and numbered by KRIME.

DOPE 24 by @krime_1
We're dropping two new prints today to raise funds for @DSPDOPE!
The first was the front cover of DOPE 24 (Winter 2023) by KRIME that we've turned in a limited edition silkscreen print.

Like us, Solidarity Economy Association is a worker-owned cooperative and we're very happy to hand over the reins to them after 6 years of publishing DOPE.
They will continue to run the project in the same spirit: DOPE Magazine will always be free to vendors, who keep all of the proceeds from sales.
It is – and will remain – solidarity, not charity.
3/ But the "Post-Internet Far Right" is not the same
In this book by @DogSectionPress, they describe how the far-right has "scattered, diversified, and stuck itself back together", finding that "it is more powerful now than it has been for a generation"

"The far right is in a state of productive diversification. It has yet to cohere around a new stable formulation; however, it almost certainly will, and we must be ready for it."

ALT so we need to go beyond "just helping", to working toward some sort of different economy, a survival economy... in some parts of the world, they call it a 'solidarity economy' to help them survive capitalism. Whatever it's called, we need to have that so we're not totally dependent on the capitalist state."
