There’s no logical reason why Sorsby’s “gambling addiction” would cause him to bet on college sports as opposed to anything else. Nor is there any credibility to someone who willfully violates federal and state law in addition to NCAA rules for 3 years without seeking help.

It’s just absolutely bizarre this is the hill that Tech and Sorsby are going to die on.

I’m really curious what incompetent law firm represented the NCAA. Can’t believe they lost that.

Now the fun in the Texas Tech/Sorsby gambit. The hurdle for Sorsby was never getting a partisan state court judge on board. The real fight was with the schools and conferences who would obviously take issue with playing against a guy who bet on and against his own team…

and who blatantly violated NCAA rules and various state and federal laws by placing about 9,000 bets over a 3 year period without ever seeking help until he got caught.

What a rebound by Robinson.

I know he’s a rookie but Spurs should try getting Harper involved in the half court offense.

Wemby looks tired all the time. He’s playing too many minutes. He’s not affecting the game because he’s dragging. He needs to up his conditioning next season.

I think there is a non zero chance that Brendan Sorsby ends up in handcuffs before he ends up on the football field for Texas Tech. Some of his activities are absolutely illegal and if reports are accurate, some of them are federal.

Peninsula Township Made a BIG Mistake After sending me an $11,000 bill for a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, THEY DIDN’T SEND ME A DETERMINATION LETTER. That means they automatically have to cut the bill in HALF. Not only did I appeal their $11,000 bill citing to wrongful charges, but I asked for a complete fee waiver since the information is of public interest. For decades, Peninsula Township has worked with an NGO, Protect the Peninsula, to create laws to hinder winery businesses *allegedly.* These unconstitutional ordinances resulted in a $49 MILLION dollar verdict against the Township. Residents asked me to dive into the relationship between the township and the NGO- so I put in a FOIA request. The township claims to be transparent, but they are hiding behind 5 figure FOIA fees. They have 10 business days to respond, let’s see what they do from here…

Dallas attorney Thelma Anderson reacts to the Karmelo Anthony verdict: "Pray for the Anthony family, because they have been legally lynched for the last year and moreso by this slaughterhouse of a courthouse, as well as the family of the Metcalfs. The energy right now is very white supremacy. They have shown up to be the pigs that they display with hate. They are celebrating the loss of life and a loss of freedom." "We have an overzealous prosecutor who lied throughout this trial, who put on liars as witnesses in order to be a saving grace for the white community so that they can win an election." "What I heard from this man today is indicative of why it's important that it's people that look like us that are in courtrooms like that. This man disregarded human life the entire trial. He invoked race. He equated Dallas County as being the ghetto opposed to Frisco being safe. They propaganda'd a photo of the deceased with black people around praying, saying, 'This is community.' They used us as a prop in order to pitch their lynching. This man has been known to be an overzealous prosecutor when it comes to us. He see[s] us as free labor. That's what he see[s] us as. So I'm not surprised that this prosecutor who has unethical background would get up there and ask for the max [sentence] when he know that this was self-defense."

We need to get foreign medical graduates out of the US. The fact we allow them is proof our government hates us. We don’t allow foreign lawyers we shouldn’t allow foreign doctors graduating from inferior schools.
This is the Indian doctor who implanted a heart valve upside down in a child, and his education was completed in India. In India, a person only needs to earn 40% to pass, which is basically an ‘F’ in the U.S. Medical Degree: M.B.B.S., 1999, Madras Medical College, Chennai, India. Internship: General Surgery, Government General Hospital, Chennai, India (2001).

Brendan Sorsby’s “gambling addiction” does not mitigate his rules violations. Addiction commonly causes criminal behavior. It is as aggravating as it is mitigating. Courts are allowed to consider it as such. He should be allowed to play professional sports not collegiate.
