If you love the work Jobs Now is doing to expose hidden jobs for American workers, we would welcome your support below. We are hesitant to explicitly ask for support, but we hear a lot of requests to add new geographic areas- with you support, we can make this happen!

Stripe's ads actually link to their website... But if you search the job title on their career page, it doesn't show up! The job is delisted! No one can apply for this job without typing their classified ad into their browser! Stripe should be banned from hiding job postings!

Hi Congressman Khanna - why not instead go after companies breaking the law by replacing American citizens with foreign visa applicants? We could raise almost 1 trillion dollars!
Reminder what Apple does is the same tactics as every other company that sponsors PERMs. Approximately 30k companies sponsored PERMs last year 25 million * 30,000 = 700 billion dollars The US government is sitting on a goldmine - they just need to prosecute!

This job at the Boeing employee union uses a very special link to apply (super long link!) in the link it explicitly has a "PERM" tag, so you know this is a PERM ad! They aren't hiding it! We found this in this week's Seattle Times classifieds

Big kudos to the Opendoor management team We could not agree more: any company with American customers will get the best results from hiring Americans to serve them! We're looking at the rest of big tech - time for all of you to follow suit and keep US jobs for US workers!
I shared this note earlier today with the entire team at Opendoor. Today we began to say goodbye to our colleagues in India as we wind down our India operations. Our customers are in America, and that's where our operational work belongs.

Premera Blue Cross in Washington is running classified ads for a remote engineering manager but they are asking for applications either by mail, or to a compliance manager who handles immigration! We think they likely will not fairly consider US applicants to this job!

Fun fact: This exact scenario was one of the reasons we started JobsNow - we were explicitly prevented from referring a very qualified candidate while being required to interview people who couldn’t even describe what they did (because they had the right visa status)
Personal story of H1B/Offshoring Fraud: As a hiring manager, my Indian supervisors/HR department literally just hand me a pile of resumes full of Indian names, and I am told I cannot use ANY other sources than their approved list of candidates. The fact that you CANNOT easily identify which company I worked for tells you everything you need to know about happening to the American workforce.

It’s bizarre interviewing people for a position that pays 200k and they can’t even describe what division of the company they work for, much less what they do on a day to day basis.

Apple paid $25 million to make this quietly disappear. The DOJ found Apple ran a separate, worse hiring process for green-card roles, one designed so US workers wouldn’t find or apply for the jobs. Paper ads instead of its own website. Mailed applications in 2023. Postings kept off the systems every other Apple role lives on. The result: the largest recovery ever by DOJ’s Immigrant and Employee Rights section. $6.75 million in penalties. $18.25 million in back pay to the US workers who got shut out. This is one of the most valuable companies on earth. It didn’t do this to save money. It did it because the system let it. Apple settled. It didn’t admit fault. The $25 million speaks for itself.

Wells Fargo is buying tons of these classified ads in Charlotte asking software engineers to apply by emailing their resume to a special address They likely have H1Bs doing these jobs fully remote, and are trying to avoid American applicants so they can get them a greencard!

Check out this laundry list of engineering jobs Paypal is advertising this week in the newspaper classified ads funny how none of these jobs are on their career website, and all ask you to apply via a special email address... we think these are just cover for visa filings!

If you don’t like the idea of temporary visa holders teaching your children, we have teacher positions open on Jobs Now! Tell your unemployed teacher friends!!
Today’s decision from a U.S. District Judge to vacate the policy implementing the Presidential Proclamation mandating a $100,000 fee for H-1B visa applicants—a 5,000% increase in some cases—came at a critical time for Alaska’s schools that are in the midst of hiring before next fall. Many school districts in rural and remote parts of the state rely on the H-1B visa program to bring quality teachers to their communities. In Alaska, this isn’t a partisan issue: the state legislature unanimously passed a resolution last month urging the federal government to waive the fee for educators. Last year, I introduced legislation to create an educator exemption, and I’ve been talking to Secretary Mullin about an administrative waiver from the fee to help bring teachers here. Today’s news is welcome relief for Alaska’s schools, but I will continue working to eliminate this fee permanently so that Alaska’s students are receiving the best education possible, regardless of the outcome of future legal challenges. newsfromthestates.com/articl…
