Last week @ZelusAnalytics announced the first part of our Series A. This was only possible due to the enthusiastic support of our amazing investors and the hard work and resilience of the incredible Zelus team! Thank you!
We're hiring engineers who can help us design, generalize, and scale our intelligence platform as we expand across sports! If you love engineering and sports, please apply under Careers at zelusanalytics.com. We particularly welcome applications from underrepresented groups.
I’m excited to announce that I am joining the team @ZelusAnalytics. Very thankful for this opportunity and looking forward to working with this incredible group to build amazing analytics products for sport.

‘Tis the season for joy and reflection, and I couldn’t be happier with the team we’ve built @ZelusAnalytics. It’s been an amazing journey so far. I’m excited for new challenges in 2020 as we develop the MLB intelligence platform for six partner teams and expand into other sports.
Thanks, @jphoornstra. It was great talking to you about various paths for innovation in baseball and how @ZelusAnalytics fits into those trends. This is an exciting time to be working in sports, with many new data sources and technologies on the horizon!
I love writing about interesting behind-the-scenes baseball people and their ideas. I hate that teams employ talented analysts who rarely get the recognition they deserve.
All of which is to say, here's a story about the future of baseball: buff.ly/2Ew6pO7
Thanks, @brendankent! I really enjoyed chatting with you as well, and I appreciate the platform @MeasurablesPod is providing for the sports analytics community.
We need to fix that slide! Dan Cervone is now the Principal Data Scientist @ZelusAnalytics. I’m thrilled to be able to work with Dan again. If you’d like to as well, there are still positions open...
Yesterday, I completed Beyond Diversity, a two-day seminar offered by Leadership Austin. I'm hopeful that I'll be able to apply some of the valuable lessons to my own work and life, and I'd highly recommend signing up for a future session. kut.org/post/mayor-wants-all…
Continuing my tour of sports analytics conferences, I’m at #saberseminar19 this weekend. We still have engineering and analytics positions open with @ZelusAnalytics. Let me know if you’re here and want to learn more. indeedjobs.com/zelus-analyti…
Last November, I made the difficult decision to leave the job of my dreams with the Dodgers and pursue a new opportunity in Austin. As my wife likes to say, she loved me enough to move to Los Angeles, and I loved her enough to move back.
@ZelusAnalytics was founded with this in mind. Our mission is to build the world’s best sports intelligence platform to help our exclusive set of partners compete. And, through that, we can create a new path for engineers and analysts to develop their careers in sports.
At this point, @ZelusAnalytics has a handful of MLB teams committed as initial partners, and we plan to engage NBA teams soon. If you would like to join us in helping these teams win, please apply for one of our open positions. indeedjobs.com/zelus-analyti…
