Thank you ALABAMA!!

With the help of the Supreme Court continuing to show their partisan colors, Alabama has officially re-joined the Old Confederacy. But make no mistake, we intend to build a better Alabama where everyone has a seat at the table.

With our primary win last week our campaign for governor moved into a new phase, but the vision remains the same: I am running for governor for every Alabamian with a team of talented and dedicated folks that will work every day to make your lives better.

We have a lot of momentum after last week’s primary victory. We can win again this fall folks, just like my friend Gov. Andy Beshear wins in Kentucky. Thanks Andy, for believing in what we are building in Alabama. Oh, and remember - we’ve won statewide in Alabama before!

A federal court took the first step today in restoring order and fairness to Alabama’s congressional maps. But this fight is not over by any stretch so we have have to continue to make our voices heard.

Even in these chaotic and uncertain times, I hope everyone takes a moment today, Memorial Day 2026, to reflect on why we set aside this one day: to honor the courage and commitment of those who made the ultimate sacrifice defending the freedoms and liberties that we all cherish. And in so doing let’s also rededicate ourselves to doing our part in efforts to form a more perfect union.

So maybe “Coach” doesn’t know what Memorial Day is and would rather give criminals who beat police and attacked the US Capitol a billion dollars of your hard earned money. Most might say this is unbelievable, but then again most should know where his loyalties really lie - and it is not with the people of Alabama.

NASCAR is an important piece of Southern pride and heritage and this loss cuts deep. Whether you are a @NASCAR fan or not this is a tragedy for his family, his fans and all of us in the South and around the country who saw his history making career. Godspeed Kyle Busch.

Great way to spend the day after a big primary win with a visit by Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear. His leadership is inspiring and his endorsement of our campaign was appreciated. Thanks for stopping by Governor!

I am honored to have secured the Democratic nomination for Lt. Governor of Alabama.  Thank you to my family, friends, and supporters for helping make this possible. Winning in November will not be easy but Alabamians are ready for change. Everywhere I go, I hear from residents who want serious leaders. They are sick of politicians and powerful interest groups who would rather keep us divided than offer solutions. Together, we will build a broad coalition of Democrats, Republicans, and independents that are committed to improve affordability, keep hospitals open, strengthen public schools, and make communities safer. Sixty one years ago brave foot soldiers crossed the Edmund Pettus Bridge in a peaceful demonstration to attain voting rights, only to be met by state troopers with billy clubs. After a great event with folks in Selma this morning we stopped by the bridge to remind folks that Alabama is still ground zero for voting rights. We hope you join us in Montgomery tomorrow for the All Roads Lead to the South rally at the State Capitol at 1pm and then make your voices heard by voting on Tuesday.

The primary elections are this coming Tuesday, May 19th. Forget the noise and confusion - this election is still happening and your vote is more important than ever. I am running for Governor to make a difference in the lives of all Alabamians and would appreciate your vote this Tuesday.
