Be careful who you bring around your children, one may try and kill your kid. True story. After divorcing my mom, my dad’s new girlfriend did not like us, but she HATED my sister. We saw her for who she was (a psychopath) and so she quite literally tried taking my sister out. Yes, OUT. My sister has a severe cranberry allergy, which she was fully aware of. So one day she’s making a smoothie for my sister and my sister asked before taking a sip “is there any cranberry in here?” She said “no of course not honey” so my sister proceeds to drink the smoothie. Almost instantly my sister has an allergic reaction. I ran to tell my dad that my sister needs to go to the hospital and he goes to grab his keys off of the key rack, and they’re missing. He asks his girlfriend where the keys are and she said “it’s fine, she’ll be fine. I’m not giving you the keys.” I kid you not, my dad tackled this woman to the ground and told her if she doesn’t get him the keys in the next minute she’ll be dead. He got the keys. He took my sister to the hospital and told her she better not be there when we return. She wasn’t. Never saw her again. Oh & this is the woman he cheated on my mom with too btw. Grass isn’t always greener, fellas. They may try and kill your kid.

I want to introduce you to Steve. He’s 83. His wife died a few months ago and he comes to this lodge in Spring Mill, Indiana and draws. He taught art in Terre Haute, IN his whole life. My cat could sense I’ve been all work no play for a while and decided to interrupt my reading. Animals are blessings from God.

Someone messaged me something kind today. Then when I responded with gratitude… It became a sales pitch. I will never be someone like that. I live to give genuine compliments and encouragement with no expectation for anything in return.
