If the Reds go on to lose this game, and if we’re honest with each other, they probably will, you do not blame it on the starting pitcher. A guy who shouldn’t even be in their rotation anyway gave them 5 serviceable innings. You can’t plan to win games 1-0 in MLB and survive. At some point, the front office has to be held accountable for not putting together a full and competitive roster. Bottom line, there are not enough professional at bats on this roster.

I generally stick to sports on this app but I feel like stepping out of that zone for a moment. How is the shooting today in Minn at all justified? Armed but not brandishing or threatening. A nurse who was stepping in to aid a woman knocked to the ground. Regardless of your politics, how is this Constitutional? Really ask that. The US is like a really lovely home on the inside with a dilapidated front porch. Our “curb appeal” is not good in the world stage , except to others that also have crappy exteriors. Is that what we want? Do we fix our flaws or let the porch rot the house? Pray for peace and for guidance on how to fix this mess of ours before it’s too late.
