Prayers to good friend and retired Louisville SID Kenny Klein (@KKcards) who suffered a medical emergency yesterday and is being cared for at a Louisville hospital. Kenny has been a special assistant with Rick Pitino’s basketball program at St. John’s for past 2 years. Great guy.
Now, FanDuel has Staal as the Conn Smythe favorite (-105). Marner, who had been under even money for a while, is now at 300.
Nikolaj Ehlers, BTW, now down to 1000 after his three-assist game. Believe he was 10000 earlier.
Mitch Marner is still the Conn Smythe favorite at FanDuel, but his implied probability is now under 50% ( 110) .
Jordan Staal's odds are shorter than 3-1 ( 290).
I know Texas Tech is in a spot no school wants to be in but I'm genuinely surprised at how poorly they have handled this. With the money they have this might be the worst PR campaign we have seen
This @PlayProphetX team slogged through a hostile state-regulatory environment, pivoted to a sweeps model to survive, and just earned @CFTC approval. Couldn't be happier for this team. They plowed through the impossible and got it done.
A few thoughts:

I think this is what Fox was thinking. He's going to get fouled, why not try for a 3-point play to end any hope for a comeback.
There was contact, but I don't know if the refs would have called anything short of him getting mugged.

Something worth noting here. DC-licensed sportsbooks cannot operate on lands owned by the federal government.
So, if you have a ticket for this and want to bet during the event, I'm guessing prediction markets are the only option.
Saw Jordan Staal Conn Smythe odds at 6000 early in the night at @FDSportsbook . Now after scoring his second goal of the night and the potential game-winning goal* tonight, those odds are down to 650.
