Nice to see my publication in Arabic this time, hopefully reaching a wider audience in the Arab world.
In the UAE, parents play significant roles in co-constructing career decisions with their daughters. Career goals and the means of attaining them are usually shared and negotiated, however, generally under the control and direction of parents. hubs.la/Q01kyCkD0

Where you live, how much your parents earn, whether you're indigenous, is still a major factor in whether you are a student or a graduate of an 🇦🇺 uni. I don’t want us to be a country where your chances in life depend on your postcode, your parents, or the colour of your skin.

“… there are no bad kids” - great message from a principal that we can pass on to our pre-service teachers @USyd_SSESW.
There are bad moments, bad days and bad choices but there are no bad kids, period. Relationships matter and I’m so proud of the positive culture we have @OldGuildfordPS 🤍 @DSafrglani @alex__brewin @CarolineThiele1 @jennycaino1 @AliciaTanios @CMassey_Edu @sharenscerri

Can we please stop using the expression 'developing country'? 1. Makes no sense as no country ever stops developing 2. Imposes a single model on all

Tossing between pre-recording a lecture or presenting live? Go live. At least when you do a mistake you suck it up and move on. With a pre-recording, I lost track of the number of recordings I’ve done so far 🙄 (and they all have mistakes…)
