🧬Can targeting microRNA pathways modify post-MI remodeling & prevent progression to #HF? 🫀HF-REVERT: microRNA-132 inhibitor CDR132L in patients with reduced LVEF after MI. Presented at #HeartFailure26 by Prof. @JBauersachsMD 📍Phase 2 randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial 📍Primary endpoint (% change in LVESVI at 6 months) improved across groups, but differences were not statistically significant between groups 📍Secondary endpoints including LVEF, NT-proBNP, GLS, & KCCQ also showed no significant differences 📍Exploratory subgroup analyses suggested potential benefit in patients with more advanced adverse remodeling at baseline 📍CDR132L was generally well tolerated with no hepatic, renal, hematologic, or cardiotoxicity signals @escardio @HFA_President @scottdsolomon @rudolf_deboer
