It's not a natural environment for both the taker or the goalkeeper. Similar to if NBA allowed cameramen on the court for technical free throws, or NHL cameramen on the ice for penalty shots
Just seems unnatural to have anyone else there aside from the ref. Typically it's only the penalty taker and goalkeeper allowed inside the area regardless of if it's a shootout
What is the issue per se? The ball can't be played again if it is deflected back towards the taker anyway.
I assume they are trying to give different live shots for streaming viewers.
