Welcome to the Drifters official Twitter page! We are a group of research scientists and students based in Nipaluna/ Tasmania @imas_utas studying all things #Zooplankton. We mostly focuses on the Southern ocean but also venture into the temperate waters around our little island.

👏 Congrats to AAPP/@IMASUTAS PhD student Pimnara ‘Nia’ Riengchan on landing an award from the Holsworth Wildlife Research Endowment. Nia studies how ocean acidification affects the shell-building of planktonic sea snails (pteropods) in the Southern Ocean. ecolsoc.org.au/awards/holswo…
