This is a significant milestone in the journey towards sustainable community development and economic recovery in Katsina State. We commend @UNDPNigeria and all partners for this impactful intervention in Jibia. Investments in housing, livelihoods, and community infrastructure are critical to building resilience, restoring dignity, and creating economic opportunities for our people.
Today in Katsina State, @UNDPNigeria will officially commission a package of investments designed to help communities move beyond displacement and towards stability. From houses to cattle markets, Jibia will be more stable than ever. #FromDisplacementToStability

You rarely see this kind of news making the headlines. Unfortunately, most people are quick to promote negative stories, while positive achievements and inspiring developments often go unnoticed.
Great News; Another idi0t taken down more grees to our gallant men. Praise be to Allah .

Ten years from now, the difference will be clear. We will know who was genuinely investing in personal growth and building a solid future, and who was merely seeking attention on social media. We will see who built sustainable businesses, who created real value, and who developed meaningful networks and lasting relationships. We will also know who spent their time taking pictures for social media and who spent their time building a legacy. Success is not measured by online appearances but by the impact, value, and opportunities you create over time. #ThinkLikeRuma please

An open appeal to @Drruma DG @kasedaktsg As a young entrepreneur committed to the vision of Governor @dikko_radda's Building Your Future Agenda, I have invested my personal resources into establishing a 10m Γ— 5m fish pond in Katsina State. Today, I seek the support of @kasedaktsg to expand this venture and unlock its full potential. With grant assistance, I can increase fish production, create jobs for fellow youths, strengthen local food security, and contribute to the economic growth of our state. Agriculture remains one of the surest pathways to sustainable development. Supporting small businesses like mine is an investment in the future of Katsina. I humbly appeal for your consideration and support. To my mutuals and fellow X users, kindly repost and engage with this appeal. May the algorithm carry this message to those who can help transform this dream into a thriving enterprise. #BuildingYourFuture #KASEDA #Agribusiness #Aquaculture #YouthEmpowerment #KatsinaState

You post a picture on social media and only 5 people like it. You post the same picture on your story and over 100 people view it. Moral of the story: People don’t like you, but they’re definitely watching you.

I still advise young people that there is nothing wrong with criticizing someone on social media, but avoid calling people’s names directly, defaming them, or damaging their reputation, because it can lead to legal consequences or even imprisonment.

Comradeship goes beyond university unionism. It is a selfless, lifelong struggle for the sake of the people and humanity, even if a comrade gains nothing material in return.

Using an iPhone is not an achievement. Let’s be honest, many Apple products in Nigeria are refurbished, UK used, or Dubai used. These days, people judge success by the type of phone someone carries, while ignoring character, knowledge, manners, and real financial stability. A good phone can be bought on installments or second-hand, but Common Sense, wisdom, integrity, and hard work cannot be faked. Stop worshipping gadgets and start valuing substance. #ThinkLikeRuma Please

We live in a time where people are judged as β€œgood” mainly by how rich they are, while character, honesty, and kindness are slowly being ignored. Before someone even replies to your comment on social media, they first check your profile to see whether you’re worthy of a response. Sadly, many people no longer value a good heart unless it comes with money, status, or influence. #ThinkLikeRuma Please

I received a delegation from @StanbicIBTC to discuss strategic collaboration in supporting MSMEs across Katsina State through business formalisation, capacity development, and improved access to opportunities. At @kasedaktsg partnerships remain key to driving enterprise growth and economic development.

I came across news about another Northern lady whose private video was leaked. Lately, we’ve been hearing too many of these cases. If some people are doing it intentionally for trends, they should know that nudity is overrated. Social media attention doesn’t last, but dignity and self-respect do. At this point, show us your ambition, your hustle, your talent, your brain not your body. #ThinkLikeRuma Please

Yesterday, I had the honour of delivering a special address at a truly historic dual event, the Maiden Katsina State MSME Awards and the Graduation Ceremony of the Dikko Social Innovation Academy (DSIA), held at the Government House Banquet Hall, Katsina. The event, themed β€œCelebrating Innovation and Enterprise for a Prosperous Katsina State,” marks a major milestone in our collective journey to build an inclusive, dynamic, and opportunity-driven economy, one that empowers our people through creativity, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Two years ago, we took a bold and visionary step by establishing the Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency (KASEDA), a deliberate initiative to accelerate MSME growth, drive job creation, and promote wealth generation. Today, that decision is yielding visible and inspiring results. Through KASEDA, we have launched the N5bn MSME Development Fund, the first of its kind in the history of our state, with N500m already disbursed to youth and women entrepreneurs across various sectors. We are also strengthening strategic partnerships with the Bank of Industry, Sterling Bank, SMEDAN, and the UNDP, which recently committed N542m to support MSMEs in conflict-affected communities within Katsina State. Another significant highlight of the day was the graduation of the first cohort of 18 fellows from the Dikko Social Innovation Academy (DSIA), a transformative initiative designed to equip young people from underserved communities with essential skills in problem-solving, design thinking, and social entrepreneurship. I am particularly proud that this initiative was inspired by a global model from Uganda, which we have successfully localized and adapted to the Katsina context. These young innovators are leaving the academy as confident leaders and changemakers, ready to drive meaningful impact within their communities and beyond. I wish to profoundly express my deepest appreciation to His Excellency, Vice President Sen. Kashim Shettima (@officialSKSM), GCON, for honouring us with his presence at this memorable event, a powerful demonstration of the Federal Government’s unwavering commitment to MSME growth and youth development across Nigeria. Together, we are building a Katsina State where innovation thrives, enterprises flourish, and every young person has a fair and equal chance to succeed.
