During Science today, Y5 learnt about Gustav Holst's famous composition 'The Planets', the children used Garage Band and composed their own music to represent different planets...some couldn't help but move to their own music! #earth&space #GustavHolst #checkoutthosemoves

Me and my daughter love the @OxUniPress Reading Buddy online books. The quizzes at the end are great fun too! I love the fact it has a huge variety of texts and covers all reading ages and abilities! #promotingreadingforpleasure

Y5 have enjoyed #BritishScienceWeek2023 starting with @BBCTeach live lesson about forces. The children then designed and created parachutes and were finding out how the surface area effects air resistance and speed. We had a great afternoon testing and timing them.

We had a great afternoon exploring which materials were soluble or insoluble as well as discussing the different variables that could impact the results. The children did a great job at writing up their investigations.
