Awesome! Thanks for sharing, Angie!
Last month, our @DukeEnergySC team from the Anderson Operations Center had the opportunity to participate in Career Day at Nevitt Forest Elementary School. Recently, we received thank-you letters from the students, and their sweet messages brought smiles to our faces. Investing time in our schools and communities is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. We hope we inspired a few future lineworkers, engineers, and energy professionals along the way! Thank you to the students and staff at Nevitt Forest Elementary for welcoming us and for the thoughtful notes. Your kindness made our day! 💙 @DukeEnergy #nevittforestelementary

The Duke Energy Site Readiness Program includes detailed site assessments by partners in site selection and engineering to identify opportunities, address challenges and improve a property’s competitiveness before a prospect is on the table. That proactive work can help communities shorten timelines, reduce uncertainty and better position sites like Bailey for major industrial announcements. spr.ly/6012B8mU1p

Last week, Hope Remains Ranch benefited from the considerable efforts of my @DukeEnergySC colleagues. I’m so grateful for our volunteers who are willing to serve, connect with the community, and help create a place where encouragement and belonging can be experienced by all ages. From lending a helping hand around the ranch to supporting opportunities for local children and families, their time and dedication made a meaningful impact. Thank you to my @DukeEnergy coworkers for giving back and making a difference in our community!

“As we prepare to celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary, I can’t help but think of our nation’s veterans who made this celebration possible. It’s important for us to invest in those who served and their families by getting them the training and skills they need to succeed after their military service,” said Tim Pearson, Duke Energy South Carolina president. “By partnering with these organizations, we can help directly support veterans in communities across our state.” LEARN MORE: spr.ly/6010B86q0O

Nice work, Angie!
Yesterday, I was proud to attend the job fair at the Greer Centre in Greer, SC! A big thank you to SCWorks and SCDEW for hosting such a well-organized event that connected so many people with valuable resources and career opportunities. I enjoyed representing @DukeEnergySC and sharing information about billing assistance programs, as well as career opportunities available within @DukeEnergy and our contractor partners. Events like these are a great reminder of the power of community partnerships and helping people connect to opportunity.
