MSCi, is professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Michigan Medical School and chief of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She is the founder and director of the onWHARD collaborative, a group dedicated to women's health and reproductive disparities research, education and advocacv. In this capacity, she leads several large research studies including SOAR, a proiect investigating ovarian aging in African American women, and ELLAS, a cohort studv designed to help health care providers better understand reproductive health conditions affecting the Latina/Latinx communitv. ALT Keisha Bentley Edwards, PhD - Moderator Dr. Edwards is an associate professor in medicine and a developmental psychologist. Her work examines how race, culture and racism stress influence health and social disparities. She is the associate director of research and the director of the Health Equity Working Group for the Samuel DuBois Cook Center on Social Equity. Jeff Baker, MD, PhD-Panelist Dr. Baker is a professor of pediatrics and director for the Program in the History of Medicine at the Trent Center for Bioethics, Humanities and History of Medicine. Most recently, Dr. Baker’s research interests have centered upon the history of racism in medical centers and their communities.
