šØšØšØOur study on uterine ca outcomes, neighborhood deprivation and racial disparity is out!!! In short, poor neighborhood ā> worse outcome. BUT for those w stage 3-4 - Black folks do poorly WHEREVER they live, while White folks do better in wealthy spots.

This is one of the first studies overlaying neighborhood SES and race alongside endometrial ca outcomes in the US ā it involved merging huge datasets, geocoding 35k addresses, performing layers of statistical analysis to understand nuances by race, geography, time.

šš¾šš¾ a great listen! In the gyn onc world - I swear by a paracervical block for all my patients undergoing endometrial biopsy. Takes 1 min, patients do better, I can get better biopsy. And itās not how I trained! Itās what I realized in practice. Canāt tell me any differently.
