Finding out that Charlie Sheen got roids from a BYU player was not on my 2026 bingo card 😂
Charlie Sheen says he took steroids for 6 weeks and added 10 MPH to his fastball for Major League “It was David Ward who directed it and wrote it. He won the Oscar for The Sting when he was like 22. Really smart, funny, good dude, and a huge baseball fan” “I had one meeting with him and he was like, ‘Well, you pitched in high school’” “I said, ‘Yeah. You can film me in a full windup. That I guarantee. But I can't throw 98 or 100 mph or I'd be doing it for a living. I can probably get you somewhere in the mid 80s’” “So I did a bunch of steroids because I was only throwing like 76 mph at the time. I had this trainer, a guy who was a running back at BYU, and he knew a guy that could get steroids. It literally put 10 mph on my fastball in six weeks”

History of the top 2 picks. I went back looked at the top 2 picks of the last ten NBA drafts to see if the players who were betting favorites a week out from the draft were actually the players selected with the top 2 picks. Here's what I found. Thread đŸ§”đŸ‘‡

Summary In 10 years of drafts, the betting markets have been surprisingly accurate at the one week mark before the draft, with 2022 being the outlier. History also suggests we could see odds fluctuate this week, but almost all of that tends to be noise.

Draftkings current favorites: #1 - AJ Dybantsa (-400) #2 - Darryn Peterson (-150) #3 - Cam Boozer (-190) History says there is a high likelyhood this is the way it plays out. We'll see when the dust settles.

None of today’s events have made me move off the projection of AJ Dybantsa at 1, Darryn Peterson at 2, and Cameron Boozer at 3 in the 2026 NBA Draft. I still believe that’s the order, and we’re going to hear a lot of posturing over the next week.

Think about it — it’s not a coincidence that Darryn Peterson’s camp comes out with news today that they believe he should be first and will only work out for the Wizards after AJ Dybantsa spent the end of last week with them. They’re trying to make a point and prove something.

Walker Kessler is reportedly frustrated with the Jazz front office, according to Sam's sources.
Difficult day for the Jazz on the optics front: Here you have Darryn Peterson refusing to work out for the team with the No. 2 pick, one year after Ace Bailey did the same (when they had No. 5). Meanwhile, sources tell @TheAthletic that a player who does want to be there - big man Walker Kessler - is at odds with the front office over his lack of an extension offer last summer and the current handling of his restricted free agency. More to come

Wizards fans conflating players wanting to be picked #1 overall into this idea they are a premiere destination will never not be funny. Iraq could have the #1 pick and these kids would be angling to get picked there.
REPORT: Darryn and AJ are fighting to be drafted by the Washington Wizards (Via @ShamsCharania) "Both Darryn Peterson and AJ Dybantsa believe they will be the number one pick" 👀

The Jazz have been hoarding Lauri for years, openly admitting it would take an insane offer for them to move him, and Spurs fans are like "A single protected 1st and arguably the worst contract in the NBA should do it".
Since pacers fans didn’t like the last trade i posted bang !!!!!

If Darryn Peterson doesn't go #1 overall, its going to be pretty funny for the Jazz to get back-to-back top 5 picks with historically bad management teams. And with how his last season at Kansas went, DP's appears to be worse than Ace Bailey's was.
