This is my point. Joshua Báez just hit his 18th home run of the season.
Fortunately, nobody has convinced him he doesn’t belong.
For all the concern over contact rates, swing-and-miss and strikeouts, Báez keeps doing what impact players do: producing. The flaws are real, but so is the power, the athleticism and the ability to change a game with one swing.
Joshua Báez (AAA) crushes a go-ahead 3-run homer with a 113.1 MPH exit velocity.
His 18 HR on the season are tied for second-most among Triple-A batters.
