🌊 Jiujiang, Jiangxi丨Shahe Street, Where History Flows with the River
🏞️ For thousands of years, the Shahe River, originating from Shimen Stream on Mount Lushan, has wound its way northward through Shahe Street in Chaisang District, Jiujiang, Jiangxi.
💧 Along its journey, the river gathers waters from Shimen Stream, and other mountain gullies of Lushan Mountain.
🌉 Flowing beneath Saiyang Bridge, it eventually joins the Shahe waterway.
⏳ Over centuries of continuous erosion, the river deposited rich layers of sand along its banks, giving rise to the name "Shahe," or "Sand River."
🏡 Nourished by the waters of Mount Lushan, Shahe Street has witnessed generations of history and the enduring bond between people and nature.
✨ Today, the ancient waterway continues to tell stories shaped by time, carrying with it the heritage and charm of Jiujiang.
