PSA: if you use these graphics by the SWPC to estimate at what Kp (G storm level) you can see aurora from your location - don't. They are, unfortunately, misleading. I am at 45°N geomagnetic latitude in Europe and according to this diagram I should only see aurora at Kp=9 / G5 storm level. Aurora is actually regularly visible here at Kp=6 / G2 storm level. At Kp=3 / G3 storm level it is usually bright, prominent, and it reaches up to 30-40° high in the sky. At G5 it is a spectacle.
This is not to denigrate the SWPC, they are great and they do a spectacular job. But I really wish they updated these graphics.
Wow! The HUXt forecast also indicates a possible double impact. The arrivals are expected around 5h and 9h UTC on June 5th, with the arrival window extending from late on June 4th to early on June 6th. Arrival speeds are in 700-800 km/s range, hit probabilities 80% and 47%. Far from a certain show, but it looks fairly promising.
