This is called a Star fish flower. I had not seen one before and I guess they dont stay in bloom that long. I went back the next day to try and take some better photos and it had closed its bloom up. This is one odd looking flower. #starfishflower #desertflower #cacti #bloom

Another angle of this amazing bird of paradise. The leaves on this plant were easily half the size of my body. This plant is surprisingly easy to maintain. Keep it on the same water schedule and dont change its temperature and its a pretty happy plant. #birdofparadise #beautiful
