It's strong leaders that create strong institutions and systems. Systems and institutions don't create themselves. We need systems. Yes! Who will create them? People! What kind of people?

TW: ED Hannah Overton was wrongfully convicted for 8 years after her 4-year-old died from salt poisoning. It was argued that Hannah forced her son to consume salt when in fact he had various undiagnosed eating disorders that caused the poisoning. Hannah was exonerated in 2015.

Most of the evidence collected from the crime scene are usually taken for analysis in a forensic laboratory. The police will usually have a storage facility where they keep evidence that has been analysed or processed for a specified period of time before destroying them.

Response Courtesy @JohnOgunjimi : Repackaging of evidence rarely ever comes up. Once the evidence has been collected at the crime scene, it is usually sealed in tamper-evident bags such that if it is opened, it will show.

The kind of bag or packaging used usually depends on the type of evidence. The bag must be such that cannot be broken into without destroying it. It must also be appropriate for each evidence concerning size and protection. Question: can evidence be repackaged?

Hair is not completely unique from human to human. There may be similarities but this does not mean they “match”. Scientists don’t have a recognized way to know how many people have similar hair features. Examiners often overstate similarities in hairs, favoring prosecution.
