It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of Oghenefejiro Obire, the founder of Community for Forensic Awareness. We share in the burden of the grief being borne by his family and friends, and send our deepest condolences to them.

We also pray for divine comfort for everyone affected by his passing. While we take a short break from our activities to honour his memory, we promise that when we return, we will ensure that his legacy lives on through this community he founded and led passionately.

#SAAFI Project in Surulere, Lagos! 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys are abused before the age of 18. This makes sexual violence is a persistent menace in Nigeria. There are certain societal & cultural myths about sexual assault that cause victims to stay quiet about incidents.πŸ‘‡πŸΎπŸ‘‡πŸΎπŸ‘‡πŸΎ

For this reason we extended the reach of the SAAFI project to secondary school students in light of the potential impact the project can have on them in preventing and addressing sexual violence. Our gratitude go out to Kikelomo, for making SAAFI a success in Surulere.
