One of the RNs I work with in the E.D. recently returned from being out for over a week saying, “It’s the sickest we’ve been (they & their spouse) in 3 years”.
“Is it Covid?” I asked.
“I didn’t even think to test.”
Sigh.
"It's not COVID", says everyone on your Facebook feed.
They're concluding this after their rapid antigen tests show as negative, having tested immediately after symptoms began.
But this type of test is falsely negative 92% of the time when testing too early in the infection!
