I’m tired of the mental health misinformation and pseudoscience that pervades healthcare, pop culture, social media, and the wellness industry. So I wrote a book about it. And it’s now available to pre-order. 😊✌️ JonathanStea.com

There are people in anti-psychiatry spaces who deny the existence of mental illness… who invalidate the lived experience of patients… and who shame people for taking medication. No one deserves to experience stigma due to mental health illiteracy. ✌️

This is bullshit propaganda from a grifter who is DESPERATE to save his job by currying favor with the boss.
Thank you, @DNIGabbard, for exposing U.S. funded biolabs around the world. The American people deserve the truth.

Unemployment will be too good for this evil sleezebag.
RFK Jr has cut Alzheimers research. Alzheimers. One of the most devastating, urgent and increasing health problems we face today. He's not interested. He's a nasty piece of work.

Every day, we see the dangerous effects of the RFK Jr spillover effect: His vaccine conspiracy theories have caused parents to mistrust their doctors, leading to brain and gut bleeds in infants when families refuse a vitamin K shot. This is heartbreaking and entirely preventable. RFK Jr.'s baseless claims about standard care for newborns have deadly consequences. Parents: Trust your doctor, not RFK Jr., about what’s best for you and your family. propublica.org/article/vitam…

You’ve done a great thing writing this brilliant book @jonathanstea I’ll reread it. It helped me really see clearly those pseudoscience, alternative med people for who they are. 🙏❤️
I wrote my book to empower people to take their mental health into their own hands. I wanted to teach the language of pseudoscientific grift so that you know when it’s spoken. This is a kind of mental health support I’m unable to provide in the role of clinician.

Alternative medicine proponents regularly push pseudoscience by relying on numerous fallacies to cajole audiences. A slippery one to watch out for is the Motte-and-Bailey fallacy:

Motte and Bailey fallacy too I think.
Motte-and-Bailey fallacy: A slippery rhetorical defense of a bad argument that is lazily used to push an agenda. A person combines two positions and then retreats to a safe uncontroversial (Motte) claim when called out on a bold controversial (Bailey) one. Examples:

Trump also hired RFK Jr to lead US health care—a guy who promotes germ theory denialism and doesn’t think that HIV causes AIDS. …And instead thinks that AIDS is caused by recreational drugs (“poppers”) used by gay people.
