Every day, we see the dangerous effects of the RFK Jr spillover effect: His vaccine conspiracy theories have caused parents to mistrust their doctors, leading to brain and gut bleeds in infants when families refuse a vitamin K shot. This is heartbreaking and entirely preventable.

A slippery rhetorical defense of a bad argument that is lazily used to push an agenda.
A person combines two positions and then retreats to a safe uncontroversial (Motte) claim when called out on a bold controversial (Bailey) one.
