In this photo of Pelaw Junction (taken by @EM81tw), you can see the disused spur to the Leamside Line. Once the ‘Metro Washington Loop’ is running, and later National Rail services running via ‘Leamside South’ towards Ferryhill, Pelaw is going to be a pretty impressive junction!
