We absolutely believe that early years professionals should be paid a fair wage for the incredible job they do, but a NLW increase without an equivalent increase in early years funding is simply not sustainable for our already-struggling sector #AutumnStatement

The Chancellor has announced a 'national living wage' increase from £9.50 to £10.42, the largest ever rise.
W/ no mention of the early years yet, despite a significant schools investment announcement, this is an incredibly concerning announcement for our sector #AutumnStatement

With the reforms to the EYFS, I would say it is crucial that high quality systems are in place to monitor (*not 'track'*) your children's progress, and most importantly identify where children need additional support....
