This reminds me of a movie I watched on AM Yorùbá, earlier this year. Story was so triggering that I had to message the producer and share my thoughts. As expected, she never responded till date.
The enabling culture in most Nollywood movies is deeply unfortunate.

The films they act, have they ever shown you that they have sense? They make DV victims return to their husbands, make abused women and children forgive their abusers, why would they have a different worldview in person?

Njideka Akunyili Crosby was the perfect artist for this. Nobody right now works with memory or with nostalgia as a medium the way she does. Nobody. And for a library and public figures that must invite (naturally) both nostalgia and inquiry, no better style or lens. In awe.

Guys, things are so bad. Tinubu and his people have to be voted out. People are getting kidnapped and killed every single day. Nigerians are not even asking for too much.
