Finally got warmed up last night. It took my full back heating pad, 2 blankets, fireplace, my handmade wool socks topped w/ fuzzy slippers, heavy robe, & cup of hot peppermint tea, Better today but it takes couple days for transfusions to work & lower heart rate. @ThanksCancer

Spent the day at the ER. Hemoglobin had dropped even lower than last Friday's labs showed. Instead of 1 pint of blood, I needed 2. Home now, but temps have dropped and I am soooo cold. @ThanksCancer

Still dealing with anemia. Onc doc: do you want another blood transfusion or a scrip for anxiety? Me: I'm not anxious. I'm dealing w/high heart rate & shortness of breath. Doc: ok. Transfusion it is.
Nurse: no appointment available until 24th. You'll need to go to nearest 1/2

ER. Me: I'll go tomorrow morning. Nurse: you don't want to go tonight? Me: I've just had a long nap and I'm too tired to get dressed. Nurse: ok. Just watch for "xyz" symptoms & call ambulance if need be.
Have to wait in ER w/ everyone else. I'm exhausted.
