The community sowed the oat seed in April and today we harvested them with a meitheal on @EcoAllen Farm on the shores of Lough Allen. There was music, song, dance, homemade food, farming advice and lots of chat and laughter.

outings, we’ve decided to run the #DawnChorus events again next weekend. It is a wonderful opportunity to listen to beautiful birdsong as we walk though the various habitats on our farm. And as an rare treat we may even hear a #curlew sing!
